Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Utilize POS systems to manage seating arrangements and track guest flow.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits through excellent hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
