About the Position:
In this role you will be participating in the production, packaging, and labeling of meat department retail items. You will provide quality customer service by answering customer questions, placing special orders, and managing and maintaining retail displays. You will be responsible for general department cleaning (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, etc).
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year retail meat department experience preferred.
- Flexible availability.
- Willingness to ask questions and continually learn about our store and our industry.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to provide and receive feedback to grow and develop you and your team.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods of time as needed.
- Ability to comply with all Idaho laws regarding food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Operate (at minimum) the following equipment in a correct and safe manner: phone and intercom system, grinder, knives, scales, heat sealer, bailer, etc.
