What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Pineapple Ink Tavern?
We are looking for a an experienced host at Pineapple Ink Tavern - a local Cuban restaurant in downtown Augusta! As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and ensure that the dining area operates smoothly while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring efficient flow of guests.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries.
- Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Assist servers and other team members with tasks as needed.
- Work as part of a team to create a positive, high-energy atmosphere for guests.
