Job Overview
Pines Village Retirement Communities, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our growing team. Maintenance will perform upkeep tasks such as demos, painting, repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems to ensure the facility is tidy and functional.
Duties
- Perform fixes such as repairs inside the resident apartment
- Perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair and construction duties
- Assist skilled maintenance workers in various skilled trades including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, glazing, painting and others as assigned.
- Ensure safety and security of residents
- Install appliances and other equipment
- Clean grounds around the facility
- Complete WorxHub tickets and projects

- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance experience is a must, preferably for a retirement community, long-term facility, apartment complex, or school district experience is a plus
- Must be able to learn correct procedures/schedules, follow those procedures/schedules and to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working basic knowledge of computers and software.
- Possess a valid State of Indiana driver's license and have a reliable vehicle and proof of automobile insurance.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Demonstrated capabilities in previous roles or projects.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to providing quality support.
