What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Support Specialist (NO C2C) position at Pinnacle Consulting & Recruitment?
What You'll Do
- Respond to standard support tickets (e.g. “Can’t log in,” “Internet is down,” printer issues, etc.)
- Perform break/fix troubleshooting on hardware and software
- Assist with onboarding new hires (device setup, M365 account provisioning, etc.)
- Provide remote and on-site support, including occasional small-scale travel
- Work with Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, and Office 365 admin tools
- Support and maintain Dell devices, iOS devices, and Ubiquiti networking gear
- Handle minor VMware interactions (basic understanding required)
- Collaborate on small projects with senior staff (e.g., freeing up Brandon and Peter)
- Help design and optimize support workflows, especially for remote/hybrid teams
- Keep tickets moving—quickly, efficiently, and with attention to detail
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal messaging, status updates, and issue resolution
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of hands-on IT support experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
- Experience with Office 365, Windows 10 & 11, and Active Directory
- Familiarity with iOS, Dell hardware, and Ubiquiti devices
- Comfortable juggling multiple tickets and shifting priorities
- Self-starter mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment and independently
- Strong communication skills via chat, email, and in-person
- Ability to log calls, update tickets, and maintain detailed documentation
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
