Opportunity:
The firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join their lean but growing Investment team in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing initial investment opportunities
- Assisting with investment diligence and execution
- Creating or overseeing model construction and monitoring select portfolio investments
- Work on lean deal teams with a VP and MD/Principal and occasionally manage the workflows of an Analyst
- Working on a wide range of investment opportunities across different sectors, geographies and situations
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in investment banking, direct lending / private credit, consulting or Big 4 Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- Interest in working on a wide range of investment opportunities across different sectors, geographies and situations
- Strong modeling and analysis skills
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving ability
- Proven track record of executing complex investment transactions
- Deep understanding of the middle-market lending space and capital structures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and mentoring junior team members
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and credit analysis
