Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MCA Underwriter to join our financial services team. You will assess the creditworthiness of businesses applying for Merchant Cash Advances. The Underwriter will evaluate merchant risk and determine funding eligibility. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions based on quantitative research. The ideal candidate will have experience in Credit analysis, bank statement review, risk scoring.
Responsibilities

- Review and analyze loan applications, financial statements, and supporting documentation to assess risk.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to determine the financial stability of applicants.
- Write detailed financial reports summarizing findings and recommendations for approval or denial.
- Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions.
- Evaluate financial concepts related to tax implications and equity research as they pertain to underwriting processes.
- Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support in the development of underwriting guidelines and procedures.
Skills
- Previous expereince with Credit analysis, bank statement review, risk scoring
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial report writing to communicate findings effectively.
- Experience in quantitative research methodologies for risk assessment.
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures within the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with key financial concepts including tax regulations and equity research principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
