What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Property Manager position at Pioneer Property Management?
We are looking for a Residential Property Manager to be responsible for the direct management and oversight of a residential LIHTC property in Muscatine, IA. The goal is to maximize asset value, resident satisfaction and revenue.
Property Manager Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- keep all paperwork up to date and to correct compliance specs
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Complete lease/contracts with residents in a timely and reliable manner
- Advertise and market vacant units to attract tenants
- Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance
- Accomplish company set goals and report periodically on performance
Skills
- Proven work experience as property manager
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management "Especially LIHTC"
- Competency in Onesite and relevant databases and software
- Customer focus and bottom line orientation
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
