PV Financial Group is seeking a local, community-minded, and driven individual to join our growing financial planning firm.
This individual will be responsible for supporting our financial advisors in the creation and delivery of comprehensive financial plans to our valued clients. The ideal candidate has strong experience in financial planning, investment analysis, and regulatory compliance and understands the importance of providing exceptional client service.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive financial plans, investment proposals, and retirement timelines using planning software while considering client goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
- Conduct research on investment products, insurance solutions, and estate planning strategies.
- Support financial advisors in client meetings by assisting in the plan presentation, data gathering, and documentation of notes.
- Assist with creation of Executive Planning Summary and implementation of plan.
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients throughout the financial planning process, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.
- Occasionally coordinate with clients’ attorneys and CPAs to ensure financial plans align with legal and tax strategies.
- Periodically meet with clients to complete paperwork; ensure required forms are complete & accurate.
- Follow up on outstanding transactions and pending paperwork, ensuring follow-up tasks are complete.
- Prepare client meeting materials (review prior meeting notes and statements, create Balance Sheets, generate reports, provide supporting documents and prepare necessary forms/disclosures).
- Assist with trade execution and money movement, as needed.
- Obtain and maintain client cost basis information.
- Run and maintain the required minimum distributions lists.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, CFP® a plus.
- Two years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Experience with Wealthscape, RightCapital, and Morningstar® is a plus.
