Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Training Supervisor with 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience to lead and develop our junior technicians. This role will involve not only overseeing the training and skill development of new and junior team members but also providing on-site support for escalated service calls. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HVAC systems, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor junior HVAC technicians, providing training on installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to enhance the technical skills of team members.
- Respond to escalated job site issues, providing on-site support and troubleshooting for complex HVAC problems.
- Utilize training materials and resources to ensure consistent and effective learning.
- Evaluate the performance of junior technicians and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and implement strategies for skill development within the team.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during training and service activities.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance training effectiveness.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, performing the appropriate HVAC system repairs.
- Recharge refrigerant levels, check for leaks, and ensure the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Perform energy-efficiency upgrades, such as installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts.
- Explain maintenance procedures to customers and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls.
- Ensure every customer is 100% satisfied.
- Deliver a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC technology preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, with a proven ability to lead and train others.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior technicians.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to on-site escalations.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
