What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Pivot Physical Therapy?
Pivot Physical Therapy has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapy Aide (Tech). This is a part-time position (under 30 hours per week) that includes early mornings and evening hours.
Your typical day includes:
- Aiding in the treatment, care, and safety of patients consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Assisting the primary therapist in the treatment of all patients without bias or prejudice
- Preparing equipment for the patient treatments, relieving the Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant to perform their professional duties
- Performing housekeeping duties of the department/facility by maintaining order/cleanliness
- Performing clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering the telephone, and taking messages

You are a great fit if you:
- Are a high school graduate or equivalent
- Have knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurology (Preferred)
- Have previous experience in a clinical setting handling patients and equipment. Housekeeping experience in a nursing home/rehabilitation agency is a plus
