Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc., a founding Distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, is looking for an ambitious, hard-working individual to fill the position of Sales Specialist for our territory near Rochester, Minnesota. The position will be located in or near Rochester, MN and will have access to our Distribution warehouse in the same area.
Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc. (PWL), established in 1976 and a founding distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, is a privately held, family owned and operated direct store distribution business.
Individuals applying for this position must have a background in sales, preferably in the food industry and enjoy the challenge of opening new business. Applicants should also be familiar and comfortable with face to face cold calling as you will be presenting the Hunt Brothers® Pizza program to prospective clients in the C-Store Industry. A strong entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help customers grow their business is also preferred. Some overnight travel will be required with this position.
Requirements
The Sales Specialist helps grow our business by presenting our program and opening new accounts in the C-store or grocery business. Establishing relationships with single store owners and chain accounts will allow us to grow into new areas around the state. Leads are generated through cold calling as well as through customer referrals and our involvement in the Convenient Store industry. To be successful, Sales Specialists will need to have potential customers try our product.
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this opportunity include but are not limited to:
- Assist with installation of new accounts.
- Design layout, and coordinate the installation of pizza shops on all accounts sold.
- Responsible for all necessary paperwork involved in the installation and set-up of new accounts – making sure all forms are current, proper approval from District Manager or sales manager is received, and paperwork is sent to the appropriate departments, as well as follow-through to determine completion.
- Coordinate with the appropriate team member the delivery of product and equipment needed for installation and sample of new accounts.
- Grow new business within a specified district or territory.
- Educate potential customers about Hunt Brothers® Pizza products and service philosophies.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
- Two-year degree or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated sales ability especially with establishing new business.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills preferred.
- Clean driving record (we will check your MVR)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Licenses, certification, or registrations required for this position:
- Valid operator’s license with the ability to meet our driving record requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and bend up to 60% of daily work hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

We offer a first year guarantee salary, then base salary commission thereafter. Benefits package, including paid vacations, medical insurance, company provided vehicle, laptop computer, cell phone allowance and 401K.
Salary : $65,000
