What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional (part-time) position at Placentino Elementary?
Placentino Elementary is looking for a part-time Kindergarten Paraprofessional to join our amazing staff. Paraprofessionals implement special education or related services for a class and/or provide direct assistance to students. Duties will vary depending upon the age of students and on the nature and severity of the student’s needs.
This position is 3 hours per day (8:50 am-11:50 am), Monday-Friday.

Public School employees of Massachusetts are required to submit their fingerprints to a National Criminal Database check. The check will require you to pay a fee of $55 if you hold an Educator’s License, or $35 if you are an unlicensed employee. In addition to the national background check, a satifsfactory Massachusetts Criminal Record Check (CORI) is required.
