Mortgage Support Analyst
Qualities of the successful candidate include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
- Mortgage background is mandatory (length of background is flexible)
- Experience working with Encompass or another LOS preferred
- Process workflow documentation
- Knowledge of Visual Basic (VB) or C#
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Self-starter requiring little direction
- Experience in writing business rules/decision logic within a rules engine
- Experience in writing/testing business functional requirements
- Experience with workflow/process design
- Proven ability to learn and apply new or upgraded software systems independently and quickly
- Proven ability to lead small teams or projects
- Professional appearance and attitude are a must
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Troubleshooting skills with a level of creativity to think outside the box
- Process focused mindset
- Must be able to multi-task, be organized and work under stress and pressure
Responsibilities of the successful candidate include:
- Assist Administration of Loan Operation Software, Customer Relation software, LOS and TPO online portals and all other 3rd party integrations with the mortgage LOS
- May lead and participate in implementation of new products, workflow, features, and software applications
- Hands-on configuration of software and systems and the coordination and problem-solving process to ensure the business standard and requirements are met
- Use integrated business analysis tools to configure workflow, exports/mapping efforts, user setup, user security, business rules, tasks, product and pricing setup, and third-party interfaces
- Perform analysis and documentation of software and system requirements
- Build and maintain workflow documentation or “how to” guides to assist business
- Create reports and dashboards from LOS and CRM software
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems and software
- Resolve problems with networks and other computer systems by reaching out to our vendors directly
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by employees to the appropriate internal team.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Walk employee through problem-solving process
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers/banks and deal with colleagues effectively and professionally
- Test new releases/deployments afterhours on occasion
