What Youll Do:
- Enhance Guest Satisfaction: Deliver outstanding guest service, resolve concerns promptly, and set a welcoming tone across all departments, from the front desk to housekeeping.
- Lead and Inspire: Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team that embodies Marriotts core values. Host regular meetings to keep everyone aligned on guest satisfaction goals.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee daily hotel operations to keep everything running smoothly, focusing on seamless transitions between departments and high service standards.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets and expenditures, implement revenue-boosting initiatives, and manage resources to maximize value while upholding quality.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the property adheres to all health and safety protocols, creating a safe, comfortable environment for both guests and associates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of four years of experience in hotel management or hospitality, with expertise in guest services, front desk, or housekeeping.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and manage a service-driven team to meet quality standards and achieve guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, job-specific software, and essential business functions, including mathematical reasoning and written communication.
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including sitting, bending, climbing, standing, reaching and walking for up to 90% of the workday and lifting and carrying up to 60lbs.
- Must possess a valid drivers license, proper car insurance coverage for business related travel.
