Plancorp is seeking an Participant Services Advisor for our Retirement Plan Advisors (“RPA”) team. The RPA team helps employers manage all types of corporate retirement plans. As RPA Participant Services Advisor you’ll contribute to our clients’ overall experience with Plancorp by taking great care of their retirement plan participants. Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Retirement Planning, this role will provide assistance to the RPA line of business. As with all positions at Plancorp, specific duties will be adapted to our clients’ needs. In general, in this role you will…

  • Proactively schedule and lead participant meetings using strong presentation and communication skills to effectively engage with employees education needs.
  • Actively manage inbound questions and requests from retirement plan participants, resolving them accurately and efficiently
  • Create, format, and design PowerPoint presentations for client use.
  • Navigate service provider websites for team, client, and participant support.
  • Communicate with service providers to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of client level reporting including quarterly reports, retirement plan summaries and RFP responses
  • Fulfill client management and service requests in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Collect and maintain client information in Plancorp’s CRM and document storage systems.
  • Expand clients’ trust in Plancorp by providing exemplary client service.

What You Bring:

  • 4 years of professional experience relevant to the skills in the role.
  • Must be adept at written and verbal communication, as demonstrated through client-ready work products and a level of service that delights our clients and plan participants.
  • Previous related experience in the financial services industry is required. Experience with corporate retirement plans or as an intermediary between a financial services firm and brokerages, securities custodial firms, or similar institutions is preferred. ERISA knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Technology acumen should include familiarity with MS Office products, and ability to quickly learn new software introduced in the course of employment with the firm. Salesforce experience (or other CRM) is helpful.
Bonus points for: Series 65, CFP, CPFA or QKA designation.

Education/Licensing: Associate degree required; Bachelor preferred;

Role type: Individual Contributor. Full time, salaried, exempt.

General availability: The Participant Services Advisor generally works Monday through Friday during normal office hours.
