Emergency Room RN Job Details
- Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46805 (Indiana healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Emergency Department (43 beds, average 165 patients/day)
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: August 25, 2025
- End Date: November 24, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shifts: 12-hour days (03:00 - 15:30); all shifts available
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910-$1960
- Orientation: Mandatory, 7 days (Mon-Fri week 1, Mon-Tues week 2, 8-hour days)
- Dress Code: Caribbean Blue Scrubs
- Active Indiana RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) or Emergency Department
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only)
- TNCC certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system
- Ability to attend all required orientation days
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients, including trauma and mental health cases
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and behavioral health specialists as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Utilize EPIC for accurate and efficient clinical documentation
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in the emergency department
- Follow hospital policies and emergency department protocols
- Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment focused on professional growth
