ICU RN Job Details – Las Cruces, NM
- Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011 (New Mexico healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens / Travel RN contract
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU/CCU)
- Start Date: August 2, 2025
- End Date: November 1, 2025
- Duration: 13-week nursing contract
- Shift: 12-hour days (07:00–19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$1960
- On-Site Position
- Active, unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse – New Mexico or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or CCU nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and other required certifications (must be valid prior to start)
- Compliance with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements (travel nurses may start on a 14-day waiver while results are processed)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care nursing to ICU patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in the intensive care unit
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards
