ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Denver, CO 80218 (Colorado nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU), 18-22 beds
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680–$1730 per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Experience with CRRT, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, EKG, NICOM, Level 1, Arctic Sun, and EVD preferred
• Background with liver and kidney failure patients and/or transplant care is a plus
• Strong teamwork, clinical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred
  
  

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced life support and neurocritical care equipment
• Assist with procedures such as intubations, line placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, EGDs, and bronchoscopies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Promote a positive, teamwork-oriented environment within the ICU
