Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
- Location: Marion, IN 46952 (Indiana healthcare jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Labor and Delivery / Postpartum Unit
- Start Date: August 18, 2025
- End Date: November 17, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 48
- Position Type: On-Site Travel Nurse
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810 - $1860
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Compact state (Indiana nursing jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (current and valid)
- Reference from a direct supervisor within the last 12 months (1 to submit, 2 to start; 1 charge reference is acceptable)
- Meditech charting experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and assist with pain management as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to related nursing units as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech (preferred)
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
