Key Job Details – Texas Nursing Opportunity
- Location: Kingwood, TX 77339 (Houston metro area)
- Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR), South Tower, 1st Floor
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 4, 2025 – November 3, 2025)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1870–$1920
- On-Call: Call and holiday call required
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- EMR System: Meditech
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital or surgical center
- Clinical proficiency in trauma (general, ortho, neuro), ortho, ortho spine, neuro, general, GYN, urology, podiatry, bariatrics, vascular, robotics (DaVinci Xi), organ procurement, and plastics
- Ability to float to Endoscopy as needed
- Strong punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
- Preferred: Advanced vascular CVOR (Hybrid OR), thoracic, open heart, and endoscopy experience
- Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures across all service lines except transplant
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to provide high-quality clinical support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call and holiday call rotations as required
- Float to Endoscopy as needed to support clinical operations
- Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and dress code standards
