Design Producer
Location: Culver City, CA
Onsite: Hybrid- Tuesday-Thursday Onsite
Pay: $96 per hour DOE

Planet Interactive is seeking a Design Producer to work with our prominent technology client on a 12-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role with a hybrid schedule of being onsite Tuesday-Thursday.
Design Producer Responsibilities:
- Manage the workflow of a creative pod and a function that is responsible for all of the in-product marketing and promotion for applications.
- Oversee design projects and work streams, ensuring effective processes, clear team goals, and strong partner relationships.
- Act as the front line of defense for intakes for the team and ensure that ambiguous briefs are developed and are clear for the pod.
- Introduce and standardize processes and tools that allow for common understanding of project intake, priorities, creative responses, and consistent project management.
- Represent prioritization, organizational and resource challenges and offer solutions to executive management.
- Deliver strategic response to how briefs can best be accomplished and delivered.
- Present and clearly communicate with higher lever stakeholders within the organization for project updates, timelines, and execution.
- Lead all aspects of project management and eliminate high-level obstacles to produce high-quality creative expediently.
- Find solutions to escalations and troubleshoot production process challenges.
- Establish relationships with cross-functional teams to build trust and work together towards common content design goals.
- Develop templates such as clear briefs and capacity plans to align all business partners.
- Bring a holistic thinking approach about opportunities for efficiency and team structure and create and advocate for resulting processes and policies.
Design Producer Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience managing projects, partners, and people in a creative design organization. Ideal backgrounds are large tech companies or streaming companies.
- Experience working on creative deliverables that deal with product and growth marketing.
- Expertise in content creation and production processes, ideally in entertainment or similar marketing environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Extraordinary attention to detail, while working under tight deadlines.
- Experience managing teams that handle multiple, concurrent projects with a collaborative approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to external and internal audiences and the ability to distill communication into practical plans.
- Shown ability to adapt to change seamlessly and to push for it when necessary.
- Well-versed in digital entertainment trends, passionate about entertainment and design.
