What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Plaquemines Parish School Board?
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivilent job-related experience
2. Responsible for cleaning assigned areas, cleans buildings by sweeping, dusting, buffing, washing rooms, vacumming, washing surfaces, scrubbing, mopping, sealing, stripping, etc.
3. Responsible for placing and keeping assigned closets neat, clean and secure
4. Responsible for supplies and equipment
5. Moves and stores furniture and equipment
6. Physically able to perform assigned duties which requires extensive walking, stooping, pushing, climbing, carrying, bending and lifting
7. Working knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment
8. Other duties as assigned by the Head Custodian and Principal
