What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Plastipak Careers?
Plastipak Maintenance Technicians perform, monitor and evaluate preventative maintenance plans for assigned lines and continually work towards improving equipment and processes.

You Will
- Perform maintenance for either extrusion or Sidel manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
- Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
- Participates in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
- Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
- Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences
You Have
- Able to work overtime, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Sidel manufacturing equipment is preferred
- Able to read and interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
- Desire to be a productive team member in a positive work environment
- Physical requirement includes ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without a reasonable accommodation
