PLATINUM GROUP SECURITY is welcoming Flexible D licensed security officers in the Auburndale area.
Must be willing to work different schedules and be flexible.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Gatehouse
· Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property while following proper procedure to grant access to visitors, vendors and contractors.
· Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
· Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
· Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
· Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
· Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.
· Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
· Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
Requirements
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Must have a Valid D License
- Must have First Shift Availability
- Must have Second Shift Availability
- Must have Overnight Availability
- Weekend (Saturday AND Sunday) Availability
- Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY
- The ability to read, write and communicate in clear, fluent English
- A reliable means of communication (working cell phone)
- A reliable means of transportation to and from work
- The ability to apply sound judgment and maintain composure in high pressured situations
The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for several hours at a time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
