Executive Chauffeur

POSITION SUMMARY:

Drives vehicles (sedan, suv, mini van, and vans) to transport passengers over specified routes according to time schedule.

Starting: Hourly base pay plus built in tips (possibility of $25-35/hr but not guaranteed w/ tip) based on a per reservation allotment. Additional cash tips for outstanding service with customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides transportation for customers.
• Performs scheduled transfers, arrivals and departures at designated properties.
• Drives vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations and observes traffic lights, other vehicles and pedestrians on the street to avoid accidents.
• Routinely interact with customers and Platinum Limousine employees, to make the trip as comfortable as possible.
• Directly responsible for keeping stick schedules, adhering to any guidelines set forth and the over success of the trip.
• Opens and closes doors,
• Starts and stops vehicle to allow passengers to enter or leave vehicle.
• Assist passengers to enter and leave vehicle.
• Loads and unloads baggage and luggage (may include fragile or delicate items).
• Regulate air conditioning, lights and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Report delays, accidents or incidents by mobile phone to the dispatcher.Inspect vehicles and make operational checks, pre-trips and post-trip.
• Checks on vehicle brakes, tries, windshields wipers, lights, oil, fuel and water supply.
• Keeps exterior and interior clean
• Keep the technicians informed of mechanical problems in writing for proper vehicle maintenance.
• Records reading and information as required by Policy.
• Must be able to fill out accident reports when necessary.
• Practices and promotes good customer relations, using professional conduct.
• Adheres to company dress standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate in English
• Familiar with Oahu hotels, streets and landmarks
• Must have the ability to drive any vehicle on all tours that are assigned.
• Professional demeanor and well groomed.
• Previous service industry experience - CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE TOP!

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Reads, writes, and speaks clearly in English.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Have the ability to read, analyze and interpret dispatch documents, safety procedures or government regulations.
• Have the ability to write required operational and safety reports.
• Have the ability to read and speak English well enough to read road signs, prepare reports, and communicate with law enforcement officers and the public.
• Have the ability to understand and speak effectively and clearly when communicating with customers.

EQUIPMENT, MACHINES AND VEHICLE USE:

Able to drive a passenger vehicle and must have a clean drivers abstract. Anyone with a DUI under 5 years is not eligible.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HOURS

• Vehicles with air conditioning and moderate noise level.
• May work any day and all hours of the day.
• Hours of work are dictated by the trips booked, the scheduled, prearrangements and the company needs.
• Weekly work hours must be consistent with the Department of Labor's rules and regulations concerning hours or service.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

• Posses a current drivers license.
• Produce or must be able to obtain prior to employment a clean drug screen and a Medical Examinations Certificate.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Provide a clean drivers abstract with no DUI's less than 5 years (insurance purposes)
