Deposit Operations Specialist I
Platte Valley Companies- Scottsbluff Operations Center
JOB SUMMARY:
Deposit Account review of new and maintenance completed on all Deposit Accounts Opened. Generate and review deposit operations reports daily. Support for all Personal Bankers |Customer Experience Representatives questions on account opening processes, maintenance to existing accounts, processing transactions and imaging procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. Quality review of new and maintenanced deposit accounts opened for completeness and accuracy of documentation, system input and document imaging.
b. Create and review deposit operations reports daily, monthly.
c. Support daily questions for account opening, maintenance to existing accounts and processing of transactions.
d. Create and communicate daily report review, monthly exception items to PBs | CERs.
e. Ensure compliance regulations and policy and procedures are adhered to.
f. Create Job Aide documentation as needed.
g. Answer phone calls daily in the Data Center phone queue.
h. Keep informed of changes in general banking services and procedures. Make suggestions for improving Platte Valley’s products, services and procedures and provide input based on suggestions of other employees and customers.
i. Continued education and training
j. Assist in special projects that arise in Deposit Operations department.
k. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school education
2. Two years financial industry work experience or professional detail orientated clerical experience is preferred.
3. Math proficiency and aptitude.
4. General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, efficiency, problem solving, team skills and time management.
5. Demonstrated aptitude to manage sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.
6. Professional appearance.
7. Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
8. Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
9. Self-sufficient/self-starting.
10. Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating, and interacting with others.
