Join our team of Early Childhood experts as a Center Directorat Jenkintown Day Nursery.

Playing is the path to learning for young children. Play is needed for healthy development. At Jenkintown Day Nursery, we are experts at combining play with age-appropriate curriculum to foster independence in children and help them develop their own unique concepts and learning style. Qualified applicants for this position will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related Field with a minimum of 18 Early Childhood Credits
• Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education or Nursery/Kindergarten Private Academic Certification
• Must possess current PA Director's Credential, or ability/willingness to earn the credential in a reasonable time-frame
• Documented experience with young children
• Experience in administration and personnel supervision
• Enthusiastic, motivated, able to multi-task and possess strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Monitor daily staffing patterns. Assist in classroom when needed to ensure we are in accordance with DHS staffing ratios.
• Oversee tours and inquiries
• Initiate and be able to carry out plans for solving problems and dealing with emergencies
• Provide on-going daily communication to parents
• Supervise, train, develop team building among staff, evaluate employees and respond to employee concerns.
