Our Teacher’s create a warm, inviting, classroom community where children feel safe and are able to realize their full potential so that they can grow and learn.
Qualifications: Must possess a CDA, Certificate of Mastery, AA or BS in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology or a related field, or have at least 12 college credits in a related field to be a master teacher, (if not you will count as an Assistant Teacher). Pass a fingerprint background check, and be able to work 8 hours per day Monday - Friday. If you have your Oklahoma background check, ELCCT and CPR you are ahead already!
Responsibilities:
- Insure the health and safety of the children in your care.
- Participate in staff and training meetings.
- Interact with the children through out the day during center play, outdoor play, and large and small group activities.
- Prepare activities that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
- Commit to continuing education and training.
- Adapt to any early childhood situation while maintaining corporate policies, DHS policies and accreditation policies.
- Prepare developmentally appropriate classroom management plans, lesson plans, and daily schedules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.50 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
