What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Plaza Auto Group?
We are looking for a vibrant, outgoing, friendly and professional Service Advisors. The Service Advisor works with customers to schedule service work and communicate any additional services needed.
Service Advisors also handle the administrative and customer relations aspects of service department operations. The Service Advisor's main job to interpret customer concerns and comments to the technician for a clear understanding to diagnosis correctly. The Advisor translates the technician’s findings to the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly in a friendly manner
- Scheduling service appointments and retrieve vehicle information accurately
- Clearly document requests of the service desired onto repair order
- Estimating the cost and time needed to do repair
- Monitoring the progress of the vehicle during service,
- Establish follow up and update customer frequently
- Recommend any additional findings from the technician; customer approval to proceed the additional work
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a dealership position and general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations recommended
- Strong communications skills to deal with customers, employees, vendors
- Top CSI scores and customer satisfaction skills required
- Able to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends to achieve goals
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with attention in detail
- Must be computer literate. Reynolds experience a plus
- Competitive compensation

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
