We’re looking for an experienced Land Survey Project Manager to join our Cardiff team who will demonstrate the ability to operate with autonomy managing a project team and utilizing the resources of the firm to provide top quality service to clients on a variety of residential, commercial, & mixed-use projects. The Survey Project Manager will oversee survey staff on design surveying and mapping projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. This role involves managing both office and field work and is responsible for fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth. The Survey Project Manager will support and embody PLSA’s vision and values, striving for excellence in all aspects of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in land development.
- 2 years in responsible charge of boundary and topographic surveying.
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- PLS license
- AA or BS in civil engineering, surveying, geomatics, other applicable science or technology degrees
- FAA Part 107 certificate (Strongly desired)
- Previous field and office experience.
- Strong competence in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center and Carlson Survey.
- Proficiency in Google Suite or Office 365.
- Strong ability to multi-task and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to guide and mentor senior staff in survey and mapping roles through technical expertise.
- Self-starter who can work both independently and with team members.

Compensation
PLSA is committed to pay equity, and as part of this commitment, have provided the annual base compensation range of $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year depending upon experience (performance bonuses are in addition to base compensation).
