Looking for a career opportunity with growth potential? Plumas Bank seeks a full time Document Imaging Specialist to work in our Quincy location. Knowledge of lending and/or banking is preferred but not required. Salary range for this position is $19.00/hr to $25.00/hr DOE.
The Document Imaging Specialist supports and provides quality control for the paperless document processing for consumer, indirect lending and commercial loans and is responsible for scanning documents, importing, indexing, re-indexing and uploading indexed documents to systems. Under direct supervision, this position will have the responsibility of managing specialized work in an efficient manner with confidence and competence. The position requires an above average attention to detail, concern for the exact correctness of the work and a strong commitment to completing tasks on time. The individual in this position must take their work seriously, have a strong sense of duty and be disciplined. The position requires a somewhat faster than average pace of work. This position is task-oriented requiring someone with a conservative, careful and cautious approach to work. It is vital for the work output to be very high quality, with correct results time and time again.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for scanning documents, importing, indexing, re-indexing and uploading indexed documents to loan system
- Scanning and imaging the bank documents and quality control the imaged documents to ensure the correct indexed document types in the system
- Responsible for imaging and indexing both paper and electronic documents with the proper and correct naming convention and supporting the paperless vision of the Bank
- Acts within scope of authority and consistent with company objectives, guidelines, policies, and practices
- Responds to internal/external customers in a timely manner
- Maintain and apply sufficient knowledge of regulatory compliance and complete with passing scores on-line compliance training according to established schedules.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of high school or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: A combination of education and experience equivalent to:
Experience with banking/mortgage documents preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of banking requirements, regulations, and loan documents preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to operate a computer with Windows-based programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
- Must possess excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Must be able to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
- Analytical thinking ability, diplomacy, and professionalism are required
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with management and other employees
