We’re looking for an Operations Specialist to join Ply and help build the operational backbone of a fast-growing tech company. This is an opportunity to make an impact from day one — supporting key business functions, improving internal processes, and helping the team move faster.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and collaborate across sales, finance, and partnerships. This role is ideal for someone eager to break into tech, learn how a startup operates from the inside, and grow into a broader career in operations, strategy, or business management.

The Role
As an Operations Specialist, you’ll help build the systems and processes that keep Ply running smoothly. You’ll collaborate across teams, bring structure to new ideas, and make sure great work turns into scalable execution.
You’ll have meaningful exposure to every part of the business — from sales to finance to product — and the opportunity to grow quickly in a role designed to be a launchpad for a career in tech and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational excellence: Collaborate with teams in sales, partnerships, and product to streamline workflows, manage cross-functional projects, and keep the business running smoothly.
- Event operations: Plan and manage key marketing and partnership events — from industry conferences to customer dinners and team offsites — ensuring every detail reflects Ply’s brand and drives measurable impact.
- Financial operations: Track and organize sales commissions, partner rebates, and referral payments, as well as general accounting ops and month close responsibilities, to ensure accuracy and transparency across teams.
- Team initiatives: Coordinate high-visibility company events and culture moments that build connection, momentum, and pride across the organization.
- Process design: Implement and refine scalable systems for vendor management, internal coordination, and reporting that support fast, efficient growth.
- Documentation & improvement: Create and maintain lightweight playbooks, checklists, and trackers that help everyone move quickly and stay aligned.
- General support: Jump in wherever needed — we’re a lean, high-ownership team where initiative matters more than titles.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in an operations, banking/consulting, or customer-facing role — ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A proactive, resourceful problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and Excel/Sheets.
- Excited to grow within a company and build a long-term career in tech & operations.
- Curious about how great companies operate — and eager to learn by doing.

Compensation Range: $90K – $105K Equity

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
