What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Coordinator Hybrid/Remote position at PMC Medical Group, LLC?
Verify and maintain credentials for professional staff to ensure licensing and
certification requirements are in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Essential Functions:
? Prepare and maintain reports and/or database to ensure the facility and its providers are in
compliance with all regulatory standards
? Evaluate credentials of providers such as accreditation, membership or facility privileges
? Cooperate with subscribers, patients, and management for verification of provider credentials
? Manage applications and process requests for credentialing
? Fax, file, prepare statements and/or letters related to credentialing documentation
? Cooperate with auditors and regulatory agencies
? Maintain a professional appearance
? Maintain a courteous, considerate and respectful demeanor with patients, visitors, co-workers
and management
? Resolve interpersonal conflicts that arise in a professional manner
? Maintain consistent attendance, reliability and punctuality
? Accept constructive criticism and attempt to use it to improve personal practice
? Make appropriate arrangements for absences
? Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, NCQA, CMS), internal policies
and D-H Professional staff, by-laws, rules and regulations.
