Responsibilities:
- Assist with referrals and insurance authorizations.
- Use scheduling software. Allscripts and EPIC knowledge a PLUS!
- Manage high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Ensure all patient data is accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians to streamline the patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a medical administrative role.
- Experience with insurance authorizations, referrals and patient communication.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to stay organized under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, upbeat attitude and professional demeanor.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player that takes initiative.
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of immunization status.
