Responsibilities:
- Leading 2-4 distributed teams; each team consists of a manager and 3-9 engineers, each team is responsible for 1-3 products within the Alli suite;
- Providing technical oversight to the teams, leading (and/or participating in) the process of making key architectural decisions;
- Making sure the teams deliver required functionality on time based on the current product roadmap; partnering with the Product team to evolve the roadmap based on customer feedback and team capacity; coordinating with the key internal and external stakeholders; maintaining a balance between developing new features and addressing technical debt;
- Assessing the current and upcoming needs for the product development, acting to staff teams with qualified engineers by both upskilling current ICs and hiring new ones, making sure team bandwidth and velocity keeps increasing over time while constantly raising the quality bar.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior engineering IC role;
- At least 3 years of experience in an engineering manager role while still being hands on;
- Experience in a manager-of-managers role;
- Deep expertise with modern technologies for building highly scalable data-intensive applications, good familiarity with at least 60% of our tech stack;
- Good understanding of MarTech domain
- Based in Dallas (or willing to relocate)
Additional Preferred Requirements:
- Hands-on experience, or working interest in GenAI, Large Language Models, Big Data, OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, etc.
- Interest or familiarity working in the Digital Marketing industry
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
- Master’s Degree
