Who We’re Looking For

Position Summary: This position works under the direction of the Asset Manager to supervise and perform work related to the maintenance and improvement of SunRiver St George Community Association (SRSG) facilities and grounds.
Essential Duties:
Implements work plans and schedules for routine inspections of facilities, amenities and non-landscaped grounds.
- Identifies areas in need of maintenance or repair, and plans a safe, efficient and cost-effective approach while reviewing the current budget needs.
- Collaborates with work crews and contractors to accomplish work assignments.
- Responsible for the design, supervision, ordering materials and supplies, and quality control for assigned projects.
- Assists with the preparation of the property for community events, coordinating tasks with Events Coordinator.
- Assist with the preparation and operations of the pools, coordinating tasks with the General Manager.
- Performing to standards the work procedures, equipment operation, job responsibilities and duties, and required safety procedures.
- Keeps the Asset Manager advised of matters related to all maintenance in the Community.
- Interacts professionally with the public (property owners, residents and contractors).
- Establish and maintain appropriate liaison and professional contacts with related service providers (Water Company, Contractors, Vendors, County, etc.…).
- Maintain inventory of maintenance equipment, tools and keep records of road surfacing, wall and fence painting and repairs, and sidewalk replacement.
- Updates the Preventative and Scheduled Maintenance spreadsheet
- Updates Service Providers in Vantaca.
- Recommends operational and maintenance policies and procedures to the GM.
- Coordinates with the Asset Manager all physical CC operations, including the set up and repairs of all CC equipment and systems.
- Complete any other duties as assigned by the AGM or Asset manager.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
- Graduation from a recognized high school preferably supplemented by additional technically training in Operations and Maintenance areas.
- Competent level of knowledge of general maintenance operations, road repairs, stormwater management, swimming pool operations, construction and maintenance of sport courts, access control and alarm and life safety systems.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and carpentry helpful.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Foster a cooperative work environment.
- Multitask efficiently.
- Ability to be tactful in numerous situations.
- Work a flexible and regular schedule.
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Physical ability to perform job description.
- Computer Skills (MS Office…Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet…)
- At least three to five years of management and supervisory experience in Maintenance Operations or related field.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Candidate will have to have a clean criminal background check, a clean credit report, and pass respective drug screening.
Physical Skills:
- Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction)
- Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid)Walking, Standing, Kneeling, Bending, Pulling, Stooping, Driving, climbing ladders and stairs.
- Heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 65 lbs. occasionally)
- Ability to access input and retrieves information from a computer.
