Supply Planner

MAIN FUNCTION:

Under general supervision, utilizing MRP and any other available planning tools, plan replenishment of finished goods for all customers both globally and stateside Ensure all aspects of planning and inventory management activities are performed effectively and meeting required results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain or related field and or equivalent experience
• 3-4 years’ experience in using MRP and understanding Inventory principles and techniques.
• Hands on experience using MRP software to plan and replenish product.
• Proficient with Excel; pivot tables, graphs, v-lookups, etc.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of  management,  
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use results to better manage the category
• APICS cert a plus
• Experience in working with large retail customer like Walmart, Staples, Best Buy, etc. including their partner sites such as Retail Link Partners online.
• Experience in both Commercial and Consumer Graphic Card industry a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Replenish and balance supply requirements with demand plans over the short term planning horizon utilizing EPICOR ERP system.
• Review daily customer order reports to ensure products will ship on time.
• Root cause analysis when supply constraints exist.  Work with responsible parties to resolve root causes.
• Analyze, control and balance inventory targets to ensure PNY is turning inventory at acceptable rates.  Including in-house WOS and  customer consignment inventory
• Make recommendation to MRP parameter settings (Safety stock, days of supply, min/max, etc.) to ensure most effective results are being executed from ERP system. In addition, ensure the MRP and Inventory database settings are always correct with clean and accurate data.
• Maintain KPI’s for product lines. (On-time%, fill-rate, WOS, etc.)
• Work in conjunction with production planning to ensure work orders are properly prioritized in the schedule.
• Plan for NPI- new product introductions with Marketing and Operations to ensure on time launch of product.
• Coordinate with external 3PL warehouse(s) to ensure proper on-time and compliant shipments.
• Work directly with Procurement to order material and pull-in/push-out PO’s to achieve an efficient inventory flow yielding high turns and low gap outs.
