As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing the necessary support to ensure efficient operation of our busy Podiatry office.
Opportunity for pay increase within 30-90 days, bonuses and advancement - based on performance.
Paid training - no experience necessary!
Responsibilities:
*not limited to:
- Screen patients & document basic medical history
- Schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Follow up with patients and update patient chart
- Assist during medical examinations
- Produce and distribute memos, letters, faxes, forms, etc.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Positive attitude
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience preferred but not required
- Medical assistant or medical secretary experience preferred but not required
Salary: From $16.00 per hour
