What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Support Associate position at Pointer Creek Wealth Management?

Private wealth management firm hiring CLIENT SUPPORT ASSOCIATE to assist with daily operations of the firm. You will be fulfilling client requests and operational duties throughout the day, reporting to the office manager. The ability to follow complex workflow templates, meticulous attention to detail, constant friendly demeanor, and superb communication are critical to this role.

Daily tasks will include but are not limited to;

· Acting as first point of contact for client service requests across platforms (email, phone, in-person, etc.). Requests may include, but are not limited to, the opening of new client accounts, maintenance for existing client accounts, and trading.

· Prioritizing tasks, workflows, and projects and proactively communicating with team members for inevitable changes due to priority and unexpected projects.

· Precise documenting of all communication with clients, vendors, and regulators in CRM (Client Relationship Management) software.

· Aiding in the preparation for meetings and phone calls. Participating in client meetings with or without financial planner as need arises.

· Overseeing creation and organization of electronic file storage system.

· Contributing to the standardization of firm’s operating procedures (client onboarding, staff training, etc.) to create operational efficiencies.

· Assisting in firm’s marketing efforts, including, but not limited to, mailings, electronic campaigns for new and/or existing clients, and client events.

· Participating in professional development opportunities to increase knowledge base of best practices in the financial industry.

· Complying with regulatory standards, broker dealer compliance, insurance industry compliance, and internal company policies, is a requirement of any position at Pointer Creek Wealth Management.

· Other minor responsibilities assisting with the organization of the physical office environment to maintain a pleasant, welcoming, and organized workspace.

· Stepping in to complete cross-functional tasks in the absence of team members who primarily carry out those duties.

· Participating in special projects as assigned.

Position requires you to be physically present during regular business hours (8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Mon - Fri).

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and credit check.

· Insurance or securities licenses are considered a bonus, but not mandatory.

· Experience (1 year minimum) in customer/client service capacity.

· Excellent verbal/written communication.

· Ability to use mathematics to process and evaluate transaction information.

· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity regarding clients' personal information

· This position relies heavily on detail and explanation. You must be able to communicate efficiently with enough detail that there is no question about who/what you are referring to.

· Maintaining and projecting the image and culture of the firm with all clients, vendors, prospects, back office staff and the general public.

· Ability to work independently when fully trained, but within a team, keeping team goals in mind.

· This position is not appropriate for anyone not seeking long-term employment due to the extensive onboarding and training costs to the firm.

· Attitude is crucial. This position relies heavily on positive people skills. It is imperative that you communicate while maintaining a friendly disposition at all times, as you will be directly representing our firm’s culture.

· Must demonstrate excellent punctuality and overall attendance record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $40,000 to $50,000 annual compensation.
