Job Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency with MasterCam
- Experience in using Solid Works or NX is desired
- Ability to read engineering prints, including the ability to understand GD&T
- Develop work-holding fixtures
- Must be able to select speeds, feeds, and tooling grades for high temperature alloys. Nickel and Titanium
- Ability to read and understand G-code
- Comfort splicing new code into existing programs with obsolete CAM files
- Integrate work with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Scheduling Department to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory
- Familiarity with post processor modifications desired. Hands on or from project management side
- Familiarity with machine parameter settings/synchronization desired
- History of using Vericut verification software desired
- Familiarity with macro style programming of touch probes and tool sensors highly desired Software: Unigraphics, NX, MasterCam, Cadkey, Vericut, Gibbs, Surfcam, AutoCad, Inventor, CAMworks, HyperMill, SolidCAM, SolidWorks, NREC
