Position Summary: Performs full life-cycle recruitment of entry level production, technical, Supervisory, Management and specialty roles across multiple national production facilities for Polyglass, USA, Inc.
What you get to do…
- Partner with Regional Human Resources team by pipelining candidates for production positions nationally across multiple production facilities
- Generate top-tier candidates through effective sourcing and screening of candidates with relevant production experience across various entry-level, supervision and technical roles
- Manage workforce plan for current and upcoming needs to ensure production across all facilities is not disrupted by staffing issues
- Build and communicate effective employer branding messages unique to each location to effectively brand Polyglass, USA as ‘Employer of Choice’ locally
- Communicate effectively on status of hiring pipeline, issues, questions, suggestions and all updates
- Creatively generate ideas around effective changes to hiring process, new and effective ways to source and communicate / manage local talent pools, roadblocks / obstacles that effect timely staffing and implement changes to put production level staffing into a continuous improvement loop
- Develop, manage and share pipeline report to provide current and future state for gaps and strengths of staffing outlook by position and plant
- Assist with post-hire onboarding activity as needed
- Assist with corporate-level non-exempt and exempt hiring as needed
- Participate in managing staffing projects for the purpose of long-term candidate pipelining success
- Perform all other recruiting / HR related duties as needed
The skills and experience you bring to our dynamic team…
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-volume recruitment for production, supervision and technical roles within a manufacturing/distribution environment
- Knowledge of job ad posting and resume posting portals such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience in managing requisitions and candidates through Applicant Tracking Systems (Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred, but not required)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in opening up new sourcing channels where traditional methods have failed
- Experience in hiring technical staff such as Maintenance Technicians, Industrial Electricians and specialized skilled roles strongly preferred
- Excellent follow-up communication on status, questions, updates from Management and HR Teams in the field
- Ability to connect with candidates and share the employment value proposition they seek in employers
- Knowledge of hiring and economic trends that effect availability of the local workforce and suggest solutions to counter these obstacles
- Ability to travel out of state 25% of time
- 3-5 years’ experience in effective recruitment of high-volume production level roles for operators, logistics, quality / lab, maintenance and Supervisory positions
