Warehouse Supervisor Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate and monitor department moves, organize finished goods and raw materials by directing warehouse staff including forklift operators and administrative staff. The position will also support overall workflow while promoting safety, quality awareness, mentoring and training for warehouse staff. The Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Warehouse Manager at Trade Point Atlantic at 2100 Sparrows Point Road Edgemere, MD. Warehouse Supervisor Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management position preferably in the food manufacturing industry with multiple warehouse locations 2-year degree required, or equivalent work experience required Supervisors experience is required with good energy and able to provide direction to Warehouse staff Ability to safely operate a forklift Working knowledge of WMS with preferred experience in Infor M3 manufacturing, ERP system experience and basic software applications Experience with Microsoft Office Warehouse Supervisor will demonstrate high level of professionalism, strong organizational and team skills Able to prioritize multiple tasks, assignments and duties Supervisor will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be detail oriented, team player OSHA and food safety knowledge beneficial Warehouse Supervisor Pay & Perks: Salary starting $70,000 per year 10% bonus Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5pm, every weekend, Saturdays only (6:30am-3pm) 401k 401k matching Health, Vision, Dental Insurance, 100% monthly premium funded by Pompeian HRA Vacation programs floating holidays Paid time off Employee Assistance Program O-Live healthy programs Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities: Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate workflow of incoming and outgoing materials Oversee the work and staff on assigned shift mentoring and training Warehouse employees Supervisor will promote and lead safety awareness, safety meetings and ensure compliance with food safety and employee safety rules Warehouse Supervisor will effectively communicate with Warehouse Manager and other Supervisors to manage workflow Move inventory by scheduling material to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments Warehouse Supervisor will deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data Communicate critical issues, which affect workflow to the department manager Advise management on challenging areas such as: safety, specific product, manpower, equipment and quality assurance Provide feedback and direction to personnel using effective communication and delegation skills to achieve desired business objectives Provide feedback on performance of staff to the employee, HR, Warehouse Manager and assist in the completion of annual reviews; recommend and administer promotions and disciplinary action Complete administrative paperwork for personnel, production results, safety, quality and scheduling of forklift operators Meet warehouse financial standards by monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions when needed Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations, and company environmental goals Performs duties per Pompeian’s mission, goals and core values All other duties and tasks as assigned About us: The Olive Oil People - is America's largest national brand of olive oil, bestselling vinegars and a variety of cooking sprays.
