About The Position
Pond is recruiting for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Structural Bridge Engineer in our Peachtree Corners office (alternative locations Cobb County, GA; Midtown Atlanta, GA, or Jacksonville, FL). In this role you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of transportation projects. This position has great growth potential and will further develop your skills and work with our experienced senior leadership to coordinate and direct production efforts.

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Transportation Engineer II with a salary range of $65,600.00 - $116,000.00 .

QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- 2 years of bridge design experience is preferred
- Experience with bridge inspections and maintenance is preferred
- Professional Engineer, P.E. certification is a plus
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles, practices and techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
- Working knowledge of GDOT design criteria and standards
- Proficiency with bridge design software packages such as MicroStation, Leap
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals. Engage in and support internal Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program
