What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hot Tub Repair Technician position at Pool Co Carbondale?

We are a specialty retailer that offers fun, recreational products and accessories. We have been in business for over 40 years and we have great reviews from our clients. Our retail store is located in southern Illinois.
While technical, electrical and some plumbing experience is desirable, it is not a requirement for this position. We will train you.
Part of your job will be diagnostics and repairs: Perform repairs and maintenance on hot tubs at customer locations and at our store. Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning hot tubs. Determine possible causes for malfunctions. Perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Repairs may be electrical, mechanical and plumbing in nature. Completion of relevant paperwork and reports will be an essential part of your job. You must be able to communicate in a professional manner with our customers, suppliers, sales and management.
Part of your job will be sales and instruction/demonstration of products: Learn and communicate product knowledge effectively. Achieve personal, store and company sales goals. Participate in on-going training, on-site and off-site. Follow our proven sales and customer follow-up system Assist staff in maintaining a professional showroom environment. Assist in maintaining all tools, equipment and vehicles. (Reporting any repair or maintenance needs to management.)
Must by driven and passionate about taking care of our customers. Must be a team player with a great work ethic. Heavy lifting is required.
ABSOLUTELY must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. (We will verify this.)
