House Support Personnel

About the Role:

We are seeking a House Support Personnel to join our team in Baltimore, BALT. As a House Support Personnel, (HSP) under the direction of the Care Coordinator and Director of Programs you will provide support to the Care Coordinator by managing ALU activities such as medical appointments, individuals’ activities schedules and maintaining good communication with the direct support staff and other team members. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be critical to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in Developmental Disability field or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a Residential Direct Care agency
• Experience using Word, Excel and Outlook

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and writing skills

• Able to drive and operate handicapped accessible van

• Organized and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Flexibility based on the needs of the individuals
• Clean and organize individuals' homes according to their specific needs and preferences
• Assist in scheduling and attending all medical appointments with the individuals in your assigned homes
• Occasional lifting or moving heavy materials in difficult work positions over 25 lbs.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, and direct support staff
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the job
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
