What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Technician position at Pool Scouts of McKinney and Northeast DFW?
On-the-job training for the candidate who loves delivering excellent customer service.
Ideal Candidate:
- You enjoy making customers happy.
- You are neat and keep a profession appearance.
- You have a valid TX driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- You have a good driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years).
- You're OK with a background check.
Basic responsibilities include:
- Clean debris from pool
- Empty skimmer and filter baskets
- Backwash DE filters
- Vacuum pool and brush where needed
- Brush tile at waterline
- Check water chemistry and balance
- Check pool equipment and water level
- Some heavy lifting (could be 50# or more)
- Other duties as assigned
- Reporting any pool issues to management
If you have experience that's great. If you don't, but really want to learn a new profession, we're happy to teach you how.
