What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Vivo Lab Technician position at Pop-Up Talent?
MUST HAVES:
1) Hands on experience in rodent animal handling and in-life measurements.
2) Hands on experience with dosing, bleeding and sample collection
3) Dosing animals with different route of administration including PO, IP, and SC.
PURPOSE
Responsible for performing high level of animal handing, dosing, sample collections and data recordings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in animal science / lab support
- Hands on experience in rodent animal handling and in-life measurements.
- Hands on experience with bleeding and sample collection
- Dosing animals with different route of administration including PO, IP, and SC.
- Performs and records daily food and health checks on various pharmacology studies
- Experience in animal anesthesia and euthanasia
- Performs post-procedural and post-surgical monitoring
- Performs sample and data collection
- Performs necropsy and tissue collection
- Receives and maintains adequate stock of animal care and research supplies
- Technical assistance with injections administration
- Ability to review, comprehend and comply with all standard operation procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance standards pertaining to laboratory animals
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
