We are seeking a Senior Operations Associate who is highly organized, mission-driven, and excited to support strong internal systems that power meaningful external impact.
THE ROLE:
- The Senior Operations Associate supports Forth’s Finance & Operations team by helping maintain strong organizational systems related to contracts, compliance, and internal operations. This role serves as a trusted on-the-ground operational partner, working closely with leadership, staff, and external partners to ensure the organization runs smoothly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage contracts, agreements, insurance, registrations, and compliance documentation
- Track deadlines, renewals, and required filings to ensure organizational compliance
- Maintain organized records to support audits, reporting, and Board needs
- Provide cross-functional operational and administrative support across teams
- Support light finance and administrative processes (documentation, coordination, follow-through)
- Help document and improve internal workflows and procedures
- Occasionally support outreach and events, representing the organization professionally
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for Forth’s mission and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Two or more years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative support
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to two times per year)
- Located in or willing to relocate to Portland, OR
- Ability to maintain a safe home office environment
HELPFUL (NICE TO HAVE):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Interest in advancing equitable access to electric mobility
- Experience managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Experience working in matrixed organizations
- Valid driver’s license (role-dependent)
