Tasks

Position Overview

• Assist the accounting department with various routine accounting activities and special projects.
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and upload daily Lemans journal entries.
• Prepare daily dealer funding & ACH reconciliation file for Treasury.
• Perform daily LM216 & LMDCR data conversion for daily cash reconciliation.
• Perform weekly Refund and Thru-bill & EOT bill processes in V8.
• Perform weekly manual termination and upfront sales tax & FL surcharge in V8.
• Prepare and upload weekly PPT Thru-bill.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for Porsche Financial Services North America (PFSNA) entities
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as assigned.

Inside The Company

Reports to: Manager, Cash & Portfolio Accounting

Works with: PFS Employees (North America and Germany)

PCNA and PAG Employees

Outside The Company

External auditors

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY/IMPACT (Measures of fiscal impact for this, which this position is responsible.)

• This position will be working with at least 8 legal entities with total assets over US$8 billion.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Include

• Accounting or related majors at the Junior or Senior level
• Previous accounting related experience preferred
• Minimum coursework includes at least 3 accounting courses
• Minimum 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for at least six months duration
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
• Extensive personal computer skills in Microsoft Office products required (esp MS Excel, Access, and Powerpoint)
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Teleworking until further notice from OPS Committee
• Minimal business travel possible.
• Some overtime required to facilitate monthly and quarterly closes and project work.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
